TOPIC: Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002: A Global Entity View of the Development, Implementation and Ongoing Compliance Testing and Deficiency Remediation

An overview of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and its impact to publicly traded companies, along with a summary of what changes companies can expect with the guidance released by the SEC and the implementation of Auditing Standard No. 5 in 2007.  A walk-through of one company’s approach to implementing an effective 404 compliance program and how that company ensures effective and efficient compliance testing throughout the fiscal year.  Presentation will also address what actions management must take when deficiencies in the control environment are identified and highlight key controls that can be found in Treasury organizations.  Lastly, the presentation will provide participants with a broad understanding of key terms affiliated with Sarbanes-Oxley.
