	Ms. Lane will speak on Unclaimed Property compliance – what you don’t know CAN hurt you.

	Her talk will include the history of escheat, what constitutes unclaimed property, and how it is treated by the law.  

	She will use recent cases to demonstrate the importance and purpose of the unclaimed property statures.

	She will give an overview of the reporting mechanisms and documentation requirements.  

	The unclaimed property audit and how to be proactive as well as survive the process will also be discussed.

	Ms. Lane will go over the process and benefits of voluntary compliance as well as recent trends in unclaimed property
